Sleepless,


Restless,

Too much on my mind,

I feel as though I am in a bind,

My ♡ is aching,

My mind is racing,

When will the thoughts go away,

My eyes wish to close but they won't go astray,

I try to forgive and forget,

But for some reason you just won't let,

Sleepless,

My mind,

You're a powerful tool,

But then why oh why do I feel like a fool,

Can you stop envisioning,

This is just the beginning,

I tried counting sheep,

But not even that tactic will let me go to sleep,

What can I do to press the brake?

Please oh please I don't wanna make a mistake,



I sit in my bed,

All these thoughts in my head,

If you were me what would you do?

Please help me here I don't have a clue,

I try and close my eyes,

But you have another agenda, its no surprise.
